  I gave it a 1 star because I couldn't give a ZERO star... This place is run down, short staffed and disgusting... My mother ( who is there for a fractured hip) was left in her bed with urine soaked sheets and later left on a bed pan for 30 min on her first day. 3 days later I took her home for several hours told them before she left the toilet in her room was clogged , they had 8 hrs to fix it , they did not instead when we flushed the toilet it ran over soaked the whole floor running into the hallway.. The whole place smells like urine. This is her second time there. 2 yrs she spent 28 days and it was pretty good and nice not this visit

  TERRIBLE WHAT THEY DID TO MY MOM...Sent her home without the family knowing. Her discharge date was 4/13/2015 and they sent her home with no belongings she had there on 4/9/15. They did not call us and we had no idea she was coming home that day. Thank God, we were home and not on the way to see her as we were doing everyday. The excuse I got from the Administrator was "miscommunication" Imagine that. Also, she was missing her hearing aid and her glasses when the Admitting worker came by the next day AFTER she got off work to bring her things. The administrator had the audacity to ask me if she needed to tell me what page it was, in the handbook, that they were not responsible for personal belongings. Now, if a 98lb woman with severe dementia has glasses and a hearing aid, you would assume they were not going to be able to keep up with them. That is what she was there for, CARE. I hate that they even have the word CARE in the name of the place because it is definitely the opposite of CARE. It is borderline abuse. They sit those poor little people out in front of the nurses station waiting on who knows what and I believe it is just so they can keep a watch on them and not have to go to their rooms. Some of them have their heads hung down, sound asleep in a wheel chair. It is one of the saddest things I have ever witnessed.I did ask them not to put my Mother out there but...yes they did. She came home with a black circle on her left arm, made with a marker. I have no clue what that was. This place needs to be CLOSED immediately. Do not take your LOVED ones there if in fact, you LOVE them!!! I have filed a report and reported everything they did and didn't do. Hopefully they will be CLOSED!!! Oh and I had to click on one star to publish this review, otherwise they wouldn't have gotten this one star at all !!
